FIA invites bids for WRC promotion

The FIA has stepped up its pursuit of a promoter for the World Rally Championship by putting the job out to tender, with the winner of the process to be announced at the end of next month. Discussions between the FIA and Eurosport broke down at the end of last week and the sport’s governing body has now taken decisive action to end this period of instability in the championship.
